Have your Athlete well rested, and don't let them eat or drink things that are high in sugar or caffeine before a shoot.
Arrive at least 1.5 hours before your scheduled shoot time.
Be at the field and finding your squad / coach at least 1 hour before shoot time.
Shoot on time. The scheduled time for each group is 1 hour. This means that you have to be ready to go and move quickly as a squad. You'll have a 5 min water break between 2 & 3. You will bring up 2 boxes with you for rounds 1 & 2. Set your 2nd box directly behind the 16yrd line where you begin shooting.
When you are finished, all hulls are to be picked up on the field at the end of your 4 rounds.
Go watch and support another squad of your team.
The last squad shoots at 3PM and should be done by 4:00PM
Shoot-offs will be announced. If your athlete is not present, they will forfeit their position as an individual or any squad-based shoot-offs will be forfeited as well. It is important to stay until the end.

Remember M.A.T.- Muzzle, Action, Trigger. Always keep your muzzle pointed in a safe direction, action open, and finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot
No more than two shells in the gun at any given time
Keep 12 gauge & 20 gauge shells separated. 20 gauge will always be yellow
7 1/2 - 9 Shot only, No larger than 1 1/8 ounce
EYES & EARS - athletes, coaches & observers at ALL times.
No toe pads - guns should never be placed on foot
Always carry guns safely & in such a manner that an open and empty action is clearly visible
If your gun malfunctions or does not fire, keep it down range (and raise your hand) until a coach assists you
No driving of golf carts without a driver's license
Athletes need to be at their assigned fields no later than 30 minutes prior to scheduled shoot time with correct ammo & gear in place
Athletes need to be in place & ready to shoot when it is their turn
Remind Lead Off athlete to keep squad moving
Time limit for trap (100 targets): 1 hour
Time limit for skeet (100 targets): 2 hours
Time limit for sporting clays (100 targets): 3 hours
No coaching is allowed during events
Parents are not permitted on the field while athletes are shooting
Only athletes can protest a score or call for a "chip", and this must be done before the athlete moves positions
Scorekeepers should clearly call "LOST" when an athlete misses a target, and read all scores aloud at the end of each station

Athletes must turn right when rotation from Post 5 back to Post 1
Take 50 to the line, only take a break after 50 targets
